The company engaged Sapling to develop a plant scheduling tool. This tool would allow them to plan their projects, and facilitate an efficient coordination between the sales, production, and finance teams.

The model enables a number of different activities: scheduling of  project tasks, scheduling of staff on a day-to-day basis, calculations of labour variances, and a high-level overview that gives management a bird’s eye view of upcoming workload


The model was introduced to the team through several training sessions and has become an integral part of how the manufacturer manages its plant
