Client: Independent sponsor-owned alternative energy generation company

Sapling is working with an independent sponsor-owned alternative energy company that places on-site power units at industrial sites. We developed and regularly run a pricing tool for the independent sponsor to determine the appropriate price to charge its clients.

3 Key Insights:

We built a test model for the project to better understand the economics of each unit that will be sold by the Company. This test model helped management get a gauge on the feasibility of the business plan

 

With our test model, we were able to build a collection of unique models catered to each customer, with each model adaptable to the unique requirements of both the customer and product sold

 

We aggregated test models into a single “entire company” model forecasting the economics of the business. With this, we determined the company’s financing requirements
