The COVID-19 crisis has been unfolding for a couple of months now, and it is already having a tremendous impact on our economy. While many executives are still in protective mode, working on ensuring the safety of their people and business continuity, others are starting to see it as an opportunity to build more stamina and ensure their companies become more resilient for this crisis and future challenges.
Many CEOs are finding inspiration in the Great Retooling that took place in the US during WW2, a time when many US industries reconfigured their businesses to respond to the new situation. This Post-Coronavirus Retooling Webinar will look at how to re-shape businesses for survival and success in a world heading for turbulence, whether due to the pandemic, climate change, or de-globalization.
Q&As with several leading experts, from economics, entrepreneurship, and risk advisory will be offering different perspectives. Q&As will include: a discussion of the current economic context and the shape and timeline of the economic recovery, a discussion with a CEO that quickly shifted gears to help companies deal with disrupted supply chains, and a discussion with a risk adviser on the potential regulatory and procedural challenges that an organization will face when re-tooling.
This webinar will provide great insight into how various industries are adjusting and preparing themselves to emerge in a post-COVID world. Sapling will also launch a competition to build a free financial model for a company looking to re-tool.
