Client: Midmarket services firm

A  midmarket private equity firm had acquired several entities and merged them. The PE firm, in collaboration with the CEO of the new entity, engaged Sapling to assist with understanding the drivers of the business and the opportunities for cost savings.

3 Key Insights:

We examined massive amounts of data across several systems (HR, Finance, Operations). We then generated a Cost Analysis Tool with a Dashboard containing dozens of heat maps, which provide metrics such as Wages/Revenue, Wages/Location and Maintenance/Client across Service Type and Region

 

These heatmaps highlight underperforming Regions for a given Service that provides significant cost savings opportunities.

 

The Tool can instantly run the heat maps across any time period desired (months, quarters, years) and is easily updated.
