startGBC Summer Camp

  • August 17 – 21, 2020
  • 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Event description

The Sapling team was excited to make a return to the StartGBC Entrepreneur Summer Camp, which helps connect students, alumni, and the community with resources, programs, and support to foster a culture of entrepreneurship on campus and beyond. Sapling’s CEO, Rob Hong, discusses financials as a start-up through a session designed specifically for entrepreneurs to address pricing products, breakeven points, burn rate, and more. We’re glad to have a helping hand for future entrepreneurs, especially within our own community. The session can be viewed below.

The Summer Camp schedule is designed to support the growth of your budding entrepreneur skills. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions of meeting in person, this year’s entrepreneur camp is online.

George Brown College is student-focused and committed to helping students reach their full potential. To support students and alumni who are following an entrepreneurial journey, George Brown College funds startGBC, to give students and alumni both extracurricular learning opportunities and support connecting start-ups into the Ontario innovation eco-system.
